There are some projects that are about far more than just bricks and mortar.
For Kathryn and her husband Steve, their backyard Pod had been over 10 years in the making. It was something they had dreamed about, planned, refined and imagined for over a decade – a peaceful sanctuary that would eventually become a beautiful extension of their home and lifestyle.
After finalising the design with their architect, they were introduced to two builders. One of them was Joel from Praxis Build. According to Kathryn, the decision became clear almost immediately.

But one of the most telling parts of Kathryn’s story had nothing to do with finishes or construction details. Because the Pod was being built in their backyard, Kathryn spent a lot of time around the site and the trades working on the project. And she noticed something.
